Burdened by the nation's spiritual decline and the growing need for healthy leadership in the Church and marketplace, Suzanne launched SFM Consulting & Associates in 2006 to serve pastors and marketplace leaders. The mission of SFM Consulting is to support pastors and corporate leaders with these growing stresses and demands of leadership. Suzanne's beliefs and experiences underscore that the success of any organization is directly impacted by the quality and health of its leadership. She desires to help pastors and corporate leaders renew their vision, maximize leadership gifts and organizational performance, and build healthy leadership organizations. Suzanne's greatest offerings to pastors and corporate leaders are in vision and strategic planning, operational leadership, organizational and leadership development, mobilizing volunteers, pastoral coaching, and teaching.

Suzanne served 16 years in the marketplace and nearly seven years in vocational ministry. Her 13-year EDS, Inc. background included program management for Government and military clients, managing programs up to $20M with staff oversight of 130-150 people. Her clients included the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Army National Guard, Defense Logistics Agency, and many other Pentagon organizations. Suzanne's engineering team designed and built the Army National Guard's nationwide telecommunications and video-teleconferencing network used to train soldiers in the field, and subsequently implemented and installed the technology throughout the US and four territories.

Suzanne served for nearly seven years on staff at McLean Bible Church near Washington, DC. During her tenure, she served for about four years as associate director of Adult Ministries, serving alongside the Adult Ministries pastor to oversee over 20 major ministry areas. She served for three years as director of Soul Purpose, MBC's ministry to 30s/40s single professionals, and for five years as director of McLean University, MBC's foundational evangelism, discipleship, and Adult Education ministry. As the MU director, Suzanne recruited teachers and led a 90+ volunteer team that developed and delivered curriculum for over 14,000 during those five years.

Suzanne received her BS in Education from the University of Virginia. She earned a Masters in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Masters in Ministry Leadership from Capital Bible Seminary, both with summa cum laude honors. She studied Greek and Hebrew to work toward an M.Div. equivalency. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary.

Suzanne served in numerous volunteer leadership capacities for the last 18 years and for many years as a child and teen in her home church. She has also served as a board member of Creative Living International for the last 17 years. Suzanne and her husband, Gilbert, reside outside Washington, DC.
